An FBI informant-turned-MMA manager and Trump's ex-director of national intelligence are leading an effort to leverage UFC champions to convert Arab American anger over Gaza into election support.
It's a bit difficult to enjoy the UFC these days because of their alliance with trump. I have no problem with them liking him or agreeing with his policies but they go overboard. Dana White goes on numerous podcasts about how he's not political, which makes me assume he isn't even fully aware of what Trump has done or what policies he's even pushing, and then tells millions of people that they should vote for him. Then there are multiple fighters who promote Trump and his policies. And for those who keep up with this are aware that so many of them are managed by Ali, who has ties to Kadyrov in Chechnya. They have zero problems of what that man does inside his country or how he uses men for his MMA organization.
Then there is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It bothers me that people are simply unaware of the long standing relationships that the American Government has had with the leaders of most of these nations in the Middle East. It is not entirely America's fault as to what is happening in the Middle East. The finger should also very much be pointed to the leaders (over decades) of those countries as well. And people so quickly forget, as you have mentioned in your article, that the Saudi's caused immense damage to Yemen. There are still so many people who cannot get enough food, water, medical supplies. Life is difficult for so many, which sadly leaves them to join crazy organizations such as the Houthis.
It absolutely blows my mind whenever I see an interview with the Saudi FM, who criticizes the Israelis even though they have done the exact same thing to the Yemenis for years! There are no protest for them, or acknowledgement for what they still go through because of the consequences of that war. People have every right to criticize the Israeli government but there is hardly no criticism for the other leaders of the region.
Well done.
