It is possible, especially if Saudi PIF takes a calculated spending approach that directs funds towards areas of growth. They've already managed to take Newcastle to the Champions League, so it is very possible that with the right manager, team and strategy, Newcastle could contend for titles in a few years. But remember, it took Man City 15 years under Sheikh Mansour to secure the treble. Money doesn't necessarily buy immediate success but strategic investments could ensure longterm achievements.
